The mission of Grapevine-Colleyville ISD is to be THE BEST. Key to accomplishing that mission is honoring our district’s rich history while planning strategically for continued success in our future. GCISD leaders believe in planning with a purpose. Our purpose – our mission – is to prepare, motivate and encourage each and every student to achieve his or her full potential.
For the past five years, GCISD has been working toward six Long Range Goals and we are proud to say that we have made significant progress toward each of the goals. As we come to the end of our district Long Range Plan in May 2011, we are looking into the future and planning our next course of action.
LEAD 2021 (Leading Excellence – Action Driven) is a strategic planning process that will provide the structure to plan the future of our school district for the next 10 years. This process involves targeted strategies and action steps designed to meet specified objectives. Involving hundreds of internal and external stakeholders, LEAD 2021 is building and expanding upon our district’s legacy of success with new objectives designed to meet students’ educational needs of today and for the next decade.
